Johann Sebastain Bach is known to be one of the greatest composers of all time. He is a German, intrumental composer and well as a vocal composer and also known to have to have composed multiple cantatas in forms of seculae and sacred in nature. He wrote compositions for the organ and composed concertos for the violin , suits, chamber music and for the orchestra. Another form of composition he is well known about is Four-part harmonies and productive use of counterpoint.

He had produced cantatas in about 1733 and had joined the Society of Musical Sciencesin 1747. Vom Himmel hoch da komm’ ich her (From Heaven Above to Earth I Come) in different canonic variations to the society which was then published later on. Some of his very famous compositions are, Mass in Minor B, St Matthew Passion, Goldberg Variations, Cantata No.21, Concerto In D Minor For Two Violins and Ave Maria.
